Faye Pasternak

I was experimenting with the idea of making an FF7 inspired character select screen and this is the result. Faye's design could probably use a little more work but I was getting a bit tired and just wanted to finish. It took about a day to draw Faye, then another day to re-draw and finish it in Photoshop.

For the lineart I just used microns, but now that I've taught myself how to use the pen tool I might switch to that from now on since I am not very good with making clean lines by hand.

I drew Faye right after I finished an episode of Shingeki no Kyojin. I think there could be some Mikasa influences in this character but it is mainly the concept of being a military trainee that influenced her design. I wanted to try designing my own group of military trainees but we'll see what happens.
